Great Leap Brewing's Beijing Invitational Craft Beer Festival (BICBF) is back for another year! This is the third installment of what is now far-and-away Beijing's most comprehensive beer festival – and it just got bigger.
This year's festival will feature more than 30 craft breweries from around the world, with a total of over 100 choice brews available on-site for your guzzling pleasure. What's more, a majority of the breweries will have a representative on hand to discuss the brews.
How does it work? TRB Copper
will host a total of seven tasting sessions
from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 March. Each session will run for two hours and will cost 350RMB per person, per session. Your ticket
will cover free-flow beer from some of the finest craft breweries in the known world, an official BICBF glass and exclusively paired canapés from Temple Restaurant Beijing (TRB)
. Sturdier revellers have the option of purchasing a weekend pass (908RMB), which allows entry to any three sessions.
For those who like to get started earlier, TRB Copper
will also be hosting a five-course brunch
(650RMB per head) on Sunday 12, with beer matching throughout from the festival's participating breweries.
Below are the invited breweries, categorised by region, with introductions and suggestions from each. We advise doing your homework and acquainting yourself with your new favourite beers in advance.
Ladies and Gentlemen, let there be beer.
