Nanluoguxiang, your game is through.

On Monday 25 April, Nanluoguxiang will be pulled from the list of official Chinese tourist destinations, reports Mainland press, with flag-flapping tour groups to be banned from entering its foul orifices.

According to the South China Morning Post, its 800 metres attract up to 100,000 people at a time during holidays, well exceeding the 17,000 pointed to as ‘safe’.

Local shop owners are also under threat, with the news that some shops will be closed down to ‘improve the street's environment’ blowing the fedora clean off the churro stand hombre's haircut.
