The Beijing shops that kept us looking fresh in 2016

From home decor to clothing to accessories, here's what we bought this year

A lot happened this year in China’s shopping and style scene: Vogue China launched Vogue Me, a new edition geared completely toward millennials, a record number of Chinese models walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (four), and in not such great news for the planet, Singles' Day sales smashed last year’s record at 171 billion RMB.

We also saw the arrival of many global brands to Beijing, as well as the probable exit of others. After 12 months, here are a few of the openings that got us excited this year.
