I"ve been trying all restaurants in Beijing since I moved 7 months ago, and S.T.A.Y @Shangri-la is by far the best, simple, not pretencious food, well served, big portions, well cooked, the Chef always comes up with a nice suggestion, my father is a vegetarian and they prepared for him a special menu which was delicious, I also had a special desert with white truffle simply extraordinary! I must say I love this place I am so glad they were opened when I got here, they really deserve it!

I am in my 3th year in Beijing and I tried many several restaurants in Beijing. There are many which are incredibles but lot of time, it"s expensive and quantity is poor. I vote for crêpanini, simple food, good taste, and good value

I don"t think you can say that Crepanini is the best restaurant in Beijing. Up against the likes of Bei or Maison Boulud and Crepanini would win? I don"t think so! It"s all about the ingredients, the atmosphere, the range and freshness of the produce, the service, the pricing, the interior design....I say Bei is one of the best dining experiences in the city.

I think S.T.A.Y is the best restaurant in Beijing. Since they opened I go there as often as I can and each time have a delightful gastronomic experience. My favorite dish is definitely chicken "pot au feu", love the black truffle touch. The crab appetizer is outstanding, the french style lamb chops delicious and the potato puree is the best I"ve ever had in my life! S.T.A.Y. gets my vote and "bravo" to the shef!

It"s a subjective vote. Maison Boulud it"s good, but speend so much money for one gram of foie gras in your hamburger... bei...stay... I am a student and I don"t have 20k by month... For me, best restaurant is the restaurant which cares about people with a affordable price.

My Vote For Indian Kitchen
Posted by : Vikram on 2012-3-16 16:22:04
Punjabi on Lucky Street is quite pleasant. Maybe a wee bit more expensive on the buffet deal than the other Indian restaurants in Beijing; but the standard of service, smiling staff and cleanliness sets it apart! and of course, all-you-can-drink beer!

Nyonya"s Kitchen is the most authentic Malaysian cuisine I know in Beijing! Fills my craving for the strong authentic spicy south-east asian flavour, not to mention the various menu they have from appetiser, snacks, main to dessert! And they"re also perfect for supper! I"m from South-east Asia and from where I come from our food always have strong flavour so I know a great place to find one when I see one! There are 2 locations I know. The one located in Guo Mao is my favourite one to go to. I can"t even think of one name of food I can mention here, it"d be unfair because all of them are so good to eat!

I love Saveurs De Coree. Their Non-MSG dishes are great! Some of their products are organic. The service is excellent, I totally feel like eating at home every time I go there. The food is not oily and overly salty at all. The place looks good, located in a hutong house, sitting at the courtyard is very enjoyable!

I haven"t been to all the restaurants but I"ve been quite many I would say. Alameda in sanlitun is my absolute favorite restaurant in Beijing. The menu keep changes, fresh ingredients, every weekend serve most authentic Brazilian dish in Beijing, affordable price and descent wine variety. Yes I would vote for Alameda.
