On Wednesday night, Time Out
held a preview dinner for the Beijing Invitational Craft Beer Festival.
Ten lucky Time Out readers were treated to an exclusive preview of some of the beers. Great Leap put on a night of some amazing pizza and booze pairings for us (because really, what goes better than slices 'n' suds?), featuring beers that have been imported specially for the festival.
There were six courses of pizza and super limited-edition beer pairings, just for Time Out readers. Man, we're the best.
What's more, some of the beers had never been in Mainland China before, making us some of the first in the country to try them. Experts from Great Leap, as well as some of the brewers who have flown in for the festival, were on hand to discuss hoppiness, maltiness and beardiness.
