Timezone 8 Bar and Restaurant has a 20-strong list of interesting bottled brews. The café was always a worthy option for refuelling during the day, but it is now bidding to keep revellers in the Dashanzi art district after the galleries close around 6pm.
The space has been reworked for the relaunch so that exposed brick walls are complemented by a stylish horseshoe bar and leather-upholstered bar furniture. Aside from a programme of live music and a planned art-themed quiz night, you can now enjoy the likes of Asahi, Kirin, Brooklyn Lager, Duvel and Erdinger. These foreign beers range in price from 25 to 45RMB and a daily 6-10pm happy hour brings them as low as 20RMB.
