Another mega ski resort to sprout up in the area in anticipation of the 2020 Winter Olympics is Fulong Four Seasons Town. It has one of the most ski trails – 37 in all of varying difficulties – and its longest runs 3.7km with a total ski area of 750,000sqm. Children will love its snow entertainment facility while its 48,000sqm hot springs centre onsite should soothe any aches from a day and night – Fulong also offers night skiing – of shredding the slopes.

Passes Full-day passes from 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Fri 399RMB; Sat-Sun 529RMB, includes skiing tickets and cable car tickets. Skiing is free for children under 12 years of age but parents must have a ticket as well and are required to purchase the 20RMB insurance fee.
Lessons Two-hour English lessons on weekdays are 900RMB and 1,000RMB on weekends; Two-hour Chinese lessons are from 650RMB. Classes are also available for children and adults from 200RMB. Children must be at least 6 years old.
Equipment rental 150RMB for snowboots and snowboards; 150RMB for ski equipment including ski boots, ski poles and skiers; clothes rental for 80RMB; ski goggles are 100RMB. Guests must bring their own ski gloves.

Getting there
Charter buses are available from Jiandemen Station, Exit A daily. Mon-Thu 6.30PM; Fri-Sat 8.30PM; Sunday departures from Fulong at 5.30PM. Tickets are available on Taobao for 100RMB/person one way (same price for both adult sand kids) and last around 3.5 hours.
