Located close to Houhai, this tennis complex hides on the quiet campus of Shichahai Sports School. Tennis balls and rackets are available for rent while changing rooms and showers are provided free of charge. Other sports courts, such as badminton and ping-pong, are accessible as well. However, be warned: the staff don’t speak much English and communication can be hard without decent Mandarin skills. But at least there’s a shop in the building to get water and snacks, so you won’t go thirsty.
Expect indoor and outdoor tennis courts, both made for professional training. This place still has that new car smell – the indoor courts are recently opened, so they’re in great condition, with hard surfacing and decent lighting, although the cost for using them is a lot higher than those outdoors.
Outdoor 25RMB (6am-8am); 40RMB (8am-5.30pm); 70RMB (5.30pm-midnight) per hour. Indoor 300RMB per hour.One of Beijing's best tennis courts
